At Congregation Shaarey Zedek we believe that Jewish learning is a lifetime project. Judaism offers a wealth of rich, deep, ideas which are interesting and useful for the adult members of our congregation and for members of the community. Membership is not required, and many of the classes have a nominal charge or are free!
Introduction To Judaism

Never had a chance to go to religious school? Or perhaps you’ve forgotten some of what you learned as a child? Pursuing an interfaith relationship and want to understand your partner’s religion? Or perhaps you are thinking of becoming Jewish? Then this is the course for you! We will learn about holidays, life cycle events, prayer, and much more.
Introduction to Judaism is free for Shaarey Zedek members and $40 for non-members. (Please note: Students will be asked to purchase books to supplement the lessons taught in class.)
Classes will meet in-person on Wednesdays from October to December. Pre-registration is required.
