Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Rememberance Day). The term “Holocaust” means “a whole burnt offering” and refers to the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of six million Jews, as well as other European civilians during and after World War II.
At Congregation Shaarey Zedek we hold a special worship service to commemroate those six million Jews who lost their lives.
